#DKSApproved: Local restaurant, nebuliser, and blood drive get DKS Approved!
Updated | By Darren, Keri and Sky
What is a machine that turns liquid medicine into a fine mist?
Keri is all about supporting local businesses.
There is a little local restaurant called Stella Glenwood. This restaurant is run by a lovely couple, Carol and Lauren. The restaurant has some of the best food Keri has ever tasted.
The other cool initiative they have is that kids under 12 eat for free and it's one of the few restaurants in the city that is vegan friendly.
Which is why this lovely local restaurant gets the K in DKS stamp of approval!
Sky gave the Nebzmart- Portable Nebulizer the DKS stamp of approval!
Sky's little one was sick, so he took him to the hospital. Dr Nadia Khan had advised Sky to buy a Nebulizer. It is easy to use plus it's designed for inhalation of medical products for various issues.
An all-in-one portable device with active vibrating mesh suitable for both adults and children.
Darren gave his blood drive his DKS stamp of approval!
This year, Darren wanted to do something special by giving back - and he did so in big way. On his birthday, 9 June, Darren decided to host a blood drive at Netcare St Augustine's Hospital.
East Coast Radio partnered with the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) to help give someone a fighting chance by donating blood for Darren's 50th Birthday Blood Drive. Everyone deserves the right to life, so our target was 600 units of blood.
The fact that many people went in on Thursday to support a noble cause to save a life was overwhelming.
