Coronavirus: Netcare ladies show KZN how to wash your hands properly

The Coronavirus has hit South Africa, so Darren, Keri, and Sky want to show you how to wash your hands the right way.

The most important information that the team has learned about the Coronavirus is to wash your hands properly. The importance of keeping your hands clean and away from your face is vital.
Darren, Keri, and Sky made a call to the wonderful nurses at Netcare Umhlanga Hospital, who promptly dropped by to teach them how to wash their hands the correct way.
The deadly virus has killed thousands and spread to numerous countries. For more details on the Coronavirus, follow Newswatch.
How to wash your hands properly:
- Apply a palm-full of the product in a cupped hand using your elbow
- Dip fingernails of the opposite hand into your soap or alcohol solution. Rotational rubbing of fingertips with clasped fingers of the right hand, then pour into the other hand and repeat
- Rub hands palm to palm
- Right palm over the back of the left hand with interlaced fingers and vice versa
- Palm to palm with fingers interlaced
- Back of fingers to opposing palms with fingers interlocked
- Rotational rubbing of left thumb clasped in right palm and vice versa
- Rub in a rotational manner around each wrist and mid-forearm. Continue rubbing until the skin is dry
