Hayfields Veterinary Hospital has been incredible and was there for Colleen just months ago when she also lost her other little dog, Midget. Colleen, who's unemployed, lives on a SASSA grant after hurting her back. In addition to just living on the grant, she also takes care of her late sister's little son, but owes Hayfields Vet just under R4,000 in expenses.
Battling to make ends meet and feeling terrible, not wanting to let Dr Clover and his team down because they've been so good to her, Colleen wrote in to ask if there was any way we could help.

After calling Dr Clover, he immediately said he'd sort out the bill. Knowing Colleen and her love of animals, he said there was no one who deserved it more and was only too happy to help. Isn't that amazing?
Thank you so much, Dr Clover!
