More than 50 people were reportedly beheaded by ISIS-linked attackers in Mozambique last week, and according to witnesses, the assailants herded victims onto a football pitch in the village of Muatide where they were killed.

In part two of the interview, Opperman addresses terrorism in America. The United States of America is not calling out terrorism for what it is; they are not giving it a name. According to Opperman, domestic terrorism has been a huge problem in America, eg the Oklahoma bombing. She addresses how terrorist groups have been given freedom by getting away with hate speech under the Trump administration, so much so that Trump support has relied on them in the elections.
Opperman also stresses the urgency for intervention which requires more than waiting. She talks about our government and the role that we can play in assisting Mozambique in this crisis.
