Back to school made merry with The Big Favour
Updated | By Damon Beard
Sharmla Naidoo wrote into the Big Favour asking if we could help her friend Chantal.
Life isn't easy for Chantal, who is an unemployed single parent. She has two girls and no financial support.
As kids around KZN head back to school, both of Chantal's daughters also go back, but they have outstanding school fees from last year, fees due for this year, and a long list of stationery as well as school bags needed. This high list of necessities are definitely overwhelming and when Damon caught wind of this, he just had to do something about it.

Check out the heartwarming moment below:
Yacoob Paruk and Shiraz Hans from Freedom Stationery jumped on board to help and popped in to East Coast Radio to hand over stationery and school bags to Chantal’s girls. They also offered to pay all the outstanding fees AND pay the girls’ fees for this year too!
Thank you, Yacoob and Shiraz. You’ve changed lives with your incredible kindness.
