Large parts of Amanzimtoti is under water, especially on the busy N2 and Kingsway routes. This worker says their office has been drenched.
"It's just water coming in. We were busy working and we thought it was just normal rain. But water began flooding the office. The awning were also breaking so people from the office needed to move their cars from under the awnings because of the wind as well," she says.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson is urging motorists who don't need to travel to please stay off the roads.
"The roads are extremely wet. People need to stay off the roads. If they don't need to go anywhere, I would advise them to stay off the roads," he says.
