Officials confirm more deaths after Durban storm

The Durban storm death toll continues to rise, with authorities now confirming a further four drownings in Isipingo.
The police's Nqobile Gwala says the total number of people who've died just in the city due to the storm now stands at nine.
"Yesterday, a total of four people drowned in Isipingo during the storm and heavy floods in the KZN province. Another two died at Prince Mshiyeni Hospital when the wall collapsed on them and again at Bayhead - another one died whilst another was taken to hospital for medical attention when a container fell on their vehicle In KwaMakhutha in the CBD, two people also died," she said
Another two deaths were reported elsewhere in the province. Yesterday, a 12-year-old boy drowned on the south coast after being swept away by floodwaters in Izingolweni.
On Monday night, an eight-year-old girl was struck by lightning in Nquthu in northern KZN.
