JVB chats to Jane about severe weather and the roads
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
With the current storms in Durban at the moment, it's important to know what you should do to stay safe. JVB, our traffic guy, gives us some quick tips that we can implement while on the roads.
We all know that when we experience bad weather, the town goes into a crazy tail spin and no one understands what they should do to protect themselves and others around them.
I spoke to JVB, our resident traffic expert, to get some tips that we can all implement right away.
For example; the first reaction of many is to get home as fast as you can - the answer is no, the storm should subside by 14h00, thereafter wait for the roads to drain out and then you will be good to go.
