Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
eThekwini Municipality says it's working on more than 1700 electricity faults across the city after Tuesday's powerful storm.

It says its technicians have been working around the clock to try and fix the problems.
Some of the worst affected areas include Amaoti, parts of Phoenix, Folweni and Zwelibomvu.
The municipality says in order to restore power to homes as soon as possible, they've decided to provide some areas with a temporary alternative feed.
