Updated | By ECR Newswatch
While tropical storm, Dineo has left at least four people dead and dozens of homes destroyed in Mozambique - in South Africa, heavy rains have largely affected the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
Weather services had downgraded the phenomenon from a cyclone to a tropical depression.
Extreme north eastern parts of KZN - including Jozini and Pongola - have also been experiencing significant rainfall associated with the storm.
Although SAWS says the storm is no longer a threat to the province, emergency team remain on high alert as the mentioned northern KZN towns see strong downpours this week.
The storm - with diminishing effects - now passes through southern parts of Zimbabwe towards Botswana.
The storm surged towards the southern coast of Mozambique with homes in coastal towns - the worst-affected Inhambane and Masinga - being affected.
