Second man in KZN facing attempted murder for exposing people to virus
A second man in KwaZulu-Natal, diagnosed with the coronavirus - is facing attempted murder charges for allegedly ignoring instructions to self-quarantine.
Police say the man is believed to have exposed an unknown number of people to COVID-19.
Police say the tourist tested positive for the respiratory disease while on holiday at Kruger National Park on Sunday.
Doctors then directed the man to remain in self-quarantine at his accommodation at the park.
However, the man ignored the directions given and went to St Lucia where he allegedly interacted with a unknown number of people.

Police say officers traced the man to his accommodation in the northern KZN town and he was immediately taken to hospital.
Health Department officials are now trying to trace all the tourists the man came into contact with.
Police say the man has not been formally charged yet as he is in quarantine.
Yesterday, police confirmed that they had arrested a 52-year-old Ladysmith man who tested positive last week after returning from an overseas trip on Wednesday.
Police say the man failed to follow directions to self-quarantine at home for 14 days and went to work at his salon this week.
He also attended a religious gathering.
Health officials are currently trying to trace around 30 people he came into contact with.
