Kids foundation drops projects over virus fears, pleads for help
Non-profits are having to adjust to working during the coronavirus outbreak.
The Reach for a Dream Foundation says it's had to postpone projects countrywide.
With the number of COVID-19 cases at 150, the group says it's not taking any chances.
The foundation grants wishes to children fighting life-threatening illnesses.
The group's Julia Sothria-NAAKOS says, "It would clearly make no sense to put medically vulnerable children at further risk, and so we have decided to hold off on all fulfilment of dreams, as well as other major activities that will provide for children on a regular basis."

She says they're working with donors and volunteers to see how to go about fulfilling the dreams of children in urgent cases.
"Unfortunately, because of the postponement, there will more Dream children that will be than ever before, and we really are needing help."
