Most of the people who died from coronavirus-related illnesses in the country were aged between 60 and 69.

Health Minister Zweli Mkhize released a national breakdown of South Africa's COVID-19 deaths as well as the new virus figures last night.
Mkhize says those in their 50s belong to the age group with the second-highest fatalities followed by people in their 70s and 40s.
One person in their twenties has died.
The country has now recorded its first neo-natal victim, a two-day-old baby.

The health ministry says to date, South Africa recorded 18 003 positive cases and has conducted more than a million tests.
