Coronavirus: SA funeral association announces restrictions
The National Funeral Practitioners Association of South Africa has announced restrictions for its members - as coronavirus spreads in the country.
The association has 540 companies under them in the country.
The association's president, Muzi Hlengwa says from now on - officials at member funeral homes will wash bodies.
"The families must not be allowed inside the mortuaries to come in and wash the bodies - up until such time that this disease has been declared clear. This is to ensure that families are safe."

He also says there won't be viewings.
"There will be no viewing of these bodies at home or during the services. These bodies will not go to the families the night before either."
Hlengwa says there will only be one funeral at a time at different venues - to control the number of people at facilities.
