Coronavirus recovery rate in SA up to 87%

South Africa's COVID-19 recovery rate has increased again.

The Health Minister says it's gone up to 87% in the last 24 hours - which means that almost 550 000 people have recovered from the virus, so far.

The total number of confirmed cases has increased to over 627 000.
The death toll continues to climb.
Another 114 coronavirus related fatalities have been recorded - bringing the total number of deaths to 14 263.
