A Checkers store in Ballito has been closed, after a worker tested positive for COVID-19.
The Shoprite Groups says it immediately notified the Health Department when it learnt about the case.
In a statement, the company says the store at Ballito Junction Mall was shut this morning.
Management says staff who were in close contact with the employee are now self-quarantining for 14 days.
