The Coca-Cola Top 40 with Carol Ofori and Ricky had us bopping our heads to the biggest tracks on the planet this past weekend.

The April 15 chart once again did not disappoint.

Here are a few interesting facts about the top three songs from the chart.

The Chainsmokers & Coldplay: Something Just Like This

The Chainsmokers’ latest song with Coldplay continues to break records. It’s currently number one on the Coca-Cola Top 40 chart, and continues to enjoy Top 10 status around the globe. The single has helped the duo break a Billboard record. It’s currently in the number five position in the US. Thanks to their latest hit, The Chainsmokers have spent 49 weeks in the Billboard Top 10.  The previous record was held by Ace of Base – in the 90s! ‘Something Just Like This’ is hot on the heels of the group’s other Top 10 entries, which include ‘Paris’ and ‘Closer’.

Rag N Bone Man: Human

Rag N Bone Man’s hit single ‘Human’ may have dropped to the number two position on the Coca-Cola Top 40 chart, but it continues to get praise around the world. The singer won the “Artist International” award at Germany's 2017 ECHO Awards recently. Rag N Bone Man also performed the song at the ceremony. Since its 2016 release, ‘Human’ has been certified platinum in Australia, Austria, Italy, Poland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

AKA: The World Is Yours

South African rapper AKA is busy shooting the video for his latest single, ‘Caiphus Song’, but one of his older tracks continues to enjoy some airplay on the Coca-Cola Top 40 chart. ‘The World Is Yours’ is currently in the number three spot – moving down one place on the chart. The video for the single, which was released in February 2017, has been watched more than 1.2-miillion times on YouTube.
