Phillips Price Mart Furniture was one the looted shops during the KZN unrest.
To work extremely hard building a business for multiple years and then to see it burn down is up there with one of the most painful things one could possibly experience. The KZN unrest saw so many businesses crumble at the hands of inconsiderate citizens of our country.
One of those businesses was Phillips Price Mart Furniture. It is a furniture store in Berea on Umgeni Road.

The General Manager, Nazima Mohammed, shared the following with The Big Favour: "We have only one branch and this is our livelihood. We are currently unable to trade as the fire at City View Mall has caused damage to the electrical cables and therefore it is a safety hazard to trade now. "
It is truly unfortunate and honestly unfair that families have to struggle to pay their bills.
My staff are at home, and we have no way to service our expenses such as salaries and utilities- Nazima Mohammed

The Big Favour connected Nazima with Mr Thomas Minnie and with Mr Anthony Govender, who are part of a Voluntary Facebook Group of Numismatics in South Africa.
