Isiaiah 54 Children's Sanctuary receives the greatest gift
Updated | By Keri Miller
Isiaiah 54 Children's Sanctuary is a crisis home that has been providing a safe space for abandoned children for years, but their journey hasn't always been easy and Keri Miller wanted to change that.
We've officially kicked off this year's Big Favour and just last week we shared the incredible story of Isiaiah 54 Children's Sanctuary.
When I came across an absolutely heartbreaking post, I knew the team had to step in and do whatever we could to help.
For many years, Glynnis Dauth has been opening her home and her heart to children who have suffered neglect and abuse, and although she can't imagine doing anything else, times have been tough.
Not only have they had to face the same obstacles as many others during this pandemic, but Glynnis also shared the story of one little girl who had been adopted twice, only to be returned to the home twice.
And that was the story that caught my attention.
The home hasn't asked for much, just a little care package for the little girl who recently celebrated her birthday.
I spoke to Glynnis just last week to find out exactly what they needed and how we could help:
Now it's seven days later and we are happy to be sharing an incredible update!
Darren, Sky, and I were able to put a little care package together for the little girl, but thanks to our wonderful and caring community, we were also able to do so much more.
This is what makes the Big Favour so special.
