Today on The Big Favour, Lynn-Rae Smith wrote to us. She was one of many people who also lost everything due to the recent flooding in the province.
Her home was badly damaged by the KZN floods.
The neighbours' retaining bank failed and a mud slide came crashing through the kitchen window.
This meant they had to flee their home that night.

Lynn-Rae has a young family with three children aged 3, 6 and 10. Unfortunately, she had cancelled the home insurance during the Covid-19 pandemic due to budget constraints.
After hearing this extraordinary story, many people were moved and wanted to help Lynn-Rae and her family. In came Jessica Singh, who is the chairperson of the East Coast Knights.
Jessica and her team from the East Coast Toyota Knights KZN reached out to us and wanted to help Kuben's mom and family in the best way possible.
