People make all kinds of New Year’s Resolutions, but some people just want to start the year with a clean slate, whether that is by settling last year’s school account or by paying the school fees for the coming year.
Listen to part 1 of this incredible story Samantha Middleton shared with the Big Favour:
Name: Samantha Middleton
Sponsor: East Coast Radio listeners
Story:
I've been working as a cleaner, now my contract has expired on the 15th of October.
My bosses were supposed to have renewed my contract but have failed to do so.

I have asked them some time back to inform me as to where I stand, because I would need to give my five year old's creche a months notice fees.
Now I need to take her out of creche, now I am owing R1250 for November. I've been to the school to explain my situation and now the school wants to hand me over to their lawyers as I cannot make the payment.
I've approached my bosses with issue and they say, there's nothing they can do. I am also owing a balance of R400 on my grade 11 son school fees.

I have continued going to work till now hoping that they see my commitment and loyalty, but they don't seem to care.
I am a single mother, yes I have been behind with my payments but I am trying.
I'm just in this knot right now and I can't afford it. I've tried asking for help but nobody can.
Please help.
Kind regards,
