Updated | By Darren, Keri and Sky
The Big Favour comes to the rescue of a snake catcher.
Snake activity has increased as the weather warms up and the summer rains have arrived.
According to John Llewellyn, who is the Reserve Manager at Ingwelela, there is nothing that repels snakes.

This includes Jeyes Fluid, chlorine, petrol, diesel, plants or the commercially available snake repellents, which is the reason why we need snake catchers.
The below story is about the snake catcher who is passionate about helping people get rid of these uninvited guests in their homes
Name: Jodi Van Den Heever
Sponsor: East Coast Radio listeners
Story:
Good day Darren , I hope you are well.
I am reaching out to ECR Big Favour not for myself but for my partner Ernst Vos.
He is a very hard working man and previously used to catch venomous snakes in the north of KZN.

He used to do this for free for the people who were less fortunate and could not afford to have venomous snakes removed from Stanger , Zinkwazi and further up the north coast.
This didn't make him any to much money and he was never able to afford to service his Opel Corsa utility bakkie 1.4.
Listen to part 1 of this incredible story Jodi had to share with The Big Favour:
It has caused him to have problems with the bakkie now and he is unable to drive it as if he continues the car will break completely.
I know there are people in worse situations but I feel he deserves it as he would risk his life to save others and almost died due to a boomslang bite on a rescue.

He needs R15000.00 to fix his bakkie to get to work and back as he had to get a job in Durban and stop what he loves doing to put food on the table.
Please help him.
Much Love
Jodi
