The Big Favour: Help Isiaiah 54 Children's Sanctuary complete their wish list
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Keri Miller was recently scrolling through Facebook when she came across a post that pulled at her heartstrings - and had her eyes filling up with tears.
I try not to spend a lot of time on social media, mindlessly scrolling, when I could be doing something more productive.
But every now and again I am reminded how social media can actually make an impact, bring people together, and how it can actually be used for a greater purpose.

I decided to share this story with Darren, Sky, and the rest of the Breakfast team, because I knew we had to do something.
The little girl, who has to be kept anonymous for her own protection, might not know it just yet, but she has already touched so many hearts and we want to do everything we can to help her, and Isiaiah 54, which has been home to many.
We can't think of a better candidate for our first Big Favour of the year.
I was able to sit down and talk to Glynnis Dauth, who is the primary caregiver at Isiaiah 54, and asked her to share as much of this girl's story as she was able to.
Glynnis also shared that the girl had made a small list of things she would love for her birthday, which came down to a few basic necessities. No extravagant requests, no elaborate list of things or toys she would want, but she is truly just asking for the things she needs.
We have a plan and we are officially setting it in motion - but we can't do this alone!
We know times are tough for everyone but if you would like to help by donating time, money, whatever you have to give, you can do that right here.
While talking to Glynnis, I asked her to share with us a list of everything the house could need or are in dire need of, so take a listen and see if there might be something you can lend a hand with or contribute:
