Sheralee Scott has decided to nominate her co-worker Mavis Posho. The reason is because Mavis has lost everything due to the #KZNFloods.
Mavis is the sole breadwinner for her family, this includes her daughter, two grandsons (6 and 11 years old), and her granddaughter (1 year old). She lived in Emangelekeni (Inanda), but when the KZN Floods hit, her house was washed away.
Take a listen to both Sheralee and Mavis talk about the difficult road they have faced:
Mavis goes on to mention that both boys attend Khanjalo Primary School. She saved for months for their uniforms. With the house being washed away, their clothes are gone.
They are going to school with no uniform, books, etc. The living situation they currently have is that they are temporarily staying in their neighbour's room.
