Empowering Change this Women's Month: Join us in supporting The Red Movement.
This Women's Month, East Coast Radio invites you to join us in supporting and empowering girls in the communities that need us most.
This initiative is close to our hearts and with your help, we can make a profound difference in the lives of countless young girls. It's time to shine a spotlight on The Red Movement, a remarkable community-driven project committed to tackling period poverty and transforming the way menstruation is experienced.
About The Red Movement:
At its core, The Red Movement is about more than just providing menstrual products. It’s a passionate effort to ensure that every girl can manage her menstrual cycle with dignity, comfort, and confidence. Their goal is to combat period poverty and break down the barriers that prevent girls from fully participating in life, from school to sports.
Period poverty is a serious issue that affects many South African girls, preventing them from attending school, participating in sports, and living their lives fully during their menstrual cycle.
With your help we can provide a sustainable, dignified solution that changes lives for the better. Every contribution you make will help provide period packs to girls in need. Each pack costs R250 and includes:
- 1 x Menstrual Cup
- 5 x Reusable Pads
Your donation will not only provide these essential products but also help eliminate stigma and empower girls to embrace their menstrual cycles with confidence.
