Story:
Good day, Friends and family
It is with a very heart that I ask of a big favour today.
What was supposed to have been a joyous and family time during last festive season (December 2021), turned into a nightmare.

I spent Christmas in hospital. I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.
After that was a series of continuous Oncologist visits, other doctor visits, scans, tests and doing bloods regularly.
I started Chemotherapy in February and in August I had a mastectomy of my left breast done.
The Chemotherapy worked its magic on me and with lots of prayer and the medical care I received, I was cured of cancer from the breast. I am on radiation now.
In May 2022 I was told that I need a Herceptin and that I have nodules in my lung, at that time we were not sure if it was cancerous due to it being very small.

I have just been for my follow-up appointment and my oncologist confirmed that those nodules are cancerous and what used to be just 3 nodules are now just over 10 nodules.
My lung cancer is at a very early stage, and I urgently need the Herceptin, unfortunately my medical aid has declined to cover the cost of it.
Government administers this drug to patients with early stages of cancer and I am a stage 4 cancer patient. The Herceptin will block the cancer from spreading further.
I am a daughter and a support to my elderly mum who is also not well, I am a wife and a mother to 2 minor children.
I am trying my best to be strong, but I am fighting the most difficult battle of my life.

I am emotionally, financially and physically drained but I still find the strength to go on.
I request and I plead for assistance of funding for the Herceptin.
The Herceptin cost R11528 per cycle and I require 17 cycles.

Any help no matter how big or small will be very much appreciated. I have been fighting for almost a year now and I have my mum and kids that depend on me.
Please help me to beat cancer!
Thank you kindly
