South Africans form human chain during Johannesburg flash floods

A viral video showing South Africans forming a human chain during the recent floods is doing the rounds on social media.

There is a lot to be said about our beautiful country. Sure, we have our problems, but this video for me sums up what being a South African is all about.
The video was originally posted by Leon Kruyshaar and shows a group of South Africans standing together to help each other during this week's flash floods in Johannesburg.

Unified people, regardless of their colour, joined together to help their fellow man by forming a human chain, helping move people away from the terrifying chocolate water.

This is such a moving example of unconditional love and kindness. This video has been a shared over and over again, and with every share I hope it reminds us of what we are capable of when we work together.
