After spotting the shark fin and blood in the water, she jumped in without any hesitation.
She was able to pull him back to safety on the boat, all while pregnant and also luckily avoiding any injuries herself.
They arrived back on the shore where Eddy was airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Center in Miami.

Witnesses confirmed the account and have also reported that they had seen the shark, measuring approximately 2.4 to 3 metres, earlier in the day.
No further information regarding Eddy's injuries has been made public but he is set to recover.
This is not an uncommon incident as bull sharks pose a greater danger to humans than any other shark.
