According to their website, they rescue stray and unwanted huskies as far as their capacity and financial resources allows. They also facilitate Public Walks with the huskies, Schools Educational Visits, and Corporate Events.
The organisation is calling on anyone who would be willing to adopt some of the huskies or assist with a property to contact them.
The centre's team were at the Discovery East Coast Radio Big Walk and joined in with the other 30,000 participants to walk to the beat along the Durban promenade. With a banner in a hand, the team campaigned to raise awareness around husky adoption, and to stop breeding and killing these precious animals.
