Anti-homeless device has internet fuming
A slope, thought to be an anti-homeless device, has been installed on the steps of an empty building - and people online aren’t happy about it!
A contraption has been installed on the steps of an empty building, with people believing it's a device to keep homeless people from taking shelter.
The device is sloped, so it's impossible for people to sit, lie, or even stand on it.
While most people aren't overly keen on homeless people taking up shelter on their property, they do agree that they'd rather that than someone sleep on a sidewalk with no shelter whatsoever.
Homeless people are saying that they take everything away with them and the area they sleep in is left clean - so what's the problem?
The thing is, the building in question here is empty - so does it really make a difference or not if a homeless person is sleeping on the step at night?
If you owned a building - would you install this device to stop people from taking refuge on your front steps?
