VIDEO: Americans vs. South African snacks
Updated | By Rory Petzer

A couple of Americans were forced to taste a few typical South African treats, and their responses were recorded.
What did The Drive Team learn?
We learnt that our typically 'normal' South African treats are pretty strange to the rest of the world!
Firstly, who even knew a rock shandy was a South African thing?
So, the Americans you're about to see were made to taste the following: Rock shandy, biltong, Peck's Anchovette, Ouma Rusks, droëwors, and of course, good ol' koeksisters.
The responses are hilarious.
They range from, “Straight up dog food," to "When do they eat this? When children have been naughty?”
Which responses are your favourite?
What's the strangest thing you've ever eaten in a foreign country?
