8 killed in KZN brutal attack
Eight people have been murdered in an attack in the Mabheleni area inland of Mtwalume.
It's understood the attack at the homestead on the KZN south coast occurred in the early hours of this morning.
Authorities are still on the scene of the gruesome crime.
Police spokesperson Jay Naicker says four adults are four children are among the dead.
He says Msinsini police responded immediately.
"When they got to the scene they found the bodies of eight individuals - four adults and four children. It appears that the victims have been hacked to death.
"They've secured the scene. Initial investigations resulted in three people being taken in for questioning," he said.
