Woman scores dream job as ‘official eating officer’

A woman in the United Kingdom must have one of the best jobs on the planet.

Sophie Hardy beat 500 applicants to score a job as a Weight Watchers official eating officer.

Yes, that is a real job title!

Sophie will now travel around the UK and eat (for free) at some of the top restaurants in the country.

Weight Watchers is investigating whether diets affect people’s social lives.

This after it released shocking figures that show 71% of people in the country feel they do.

Sophie is currently on a diet and is around 12-kilograms from reaching her goal weight. She plans to show others a healthier lifestyle does not mean a boring social life.

"Being chosen to eat out twice week in restaurants across the UK is an absolute dream job so I am delighted to be appointed as the first ever Official Eating Officer. I am excited to show the UK that life doesn’t have to stop while leading a healthier lifestyle,” the 25-year-old said in a statement released by the company.
